Research Statement
I am in the Economics PhD program at UCSD to gain additional tools to analyze economics and financial issues utilizing a wide range of computing tools and eclectic array of data from the web and from data stores.
These interests are developed from studying computer science and economics as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, and working with large sets of inter-dealer broker tick data as a research assistant/systems analyst at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Systems' Financial Market Analysis Section.
